DGS Managed Facilities
The Bureaus of Facilities Management and Maintenance Management are responsible for the cleaning, maintaining, landscaping, and grounds, and special events in and around the buildings owned or operated by the Department of General Services within the city of Harrisburg and the Scranton and Reading State Office Buildings.
Each building has a designated building manager who is responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and good operation of the facility. Agencies should contact their respective building manager for routine questions and requests. Work Order requests must be submitted by an Agency Point of Contact (POC) through Operate, which can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection. Agencies in Strawberry Square and 333 Market St. should complete a Harristown Work Authorization Form for projects that will be managed or performed by Harristown staff.
