Stephen Rudman serves as the department's Legislative Liaison. In this position, he advises the Secretary on legislative activities and serves as the department's legislative point of contact with the Governor's Office and the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
Prior to his appointment, Stephen oversaw the Delaware County Field Office for the Tom Wolf for Governor Campaign and served as the political and legal director of that office as well. He brings a diverse background to the Legislative Liaison position, covering the fields of law, science and politics. He has served as special counsel at the law firm of Barrack, Rodos & Bacine in Philadelphia and was a chemist at Arkema Chemicals, Inc. in King of Prussia and a planetarium operator at the North Museum of Natural History and Science in Lancaster, PA.
He earned his juris doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and holds bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Astronomy from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
