Deputy Secretary for Property and Asset Management
Julien Gaudion serves as the Deputy Secretary for Property and Asset Management. In this position, he oversees property administration, police & safety, facilities & maintenance management and all real estate transactions for the commonwealth.
Most recently, he was the Corporate Energy Manager at Aqua America Inc., where he was responsible for energy procurement and management across the utility’s multiple operating states. While at Aqua, he implemented an industry award-winning electricity load management program that yielded significant cost savings to the utility.
Gaudion previously served as a program manager within the Office of Energy and Technology Deployment at the Department of Environmental Protection during the Rendell Administration where he developed and managed energy efficiency and alternative energy programs for businesses operating in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He began his career in the private sector working as a contractor on EPA removal sites before transitioning into the real estate development field.
Gaudion received his Bachelor of Science degree from Washington College in 1996.
